Unproven Half Accoyo Male
Ready to start his breeding career, this male is a grandson of the famous full Accoyo PPPeruvian Royal Fawn who sold for $600,000 in 2005, and a son of the full Accoyo Royal Fawn’s Accoyo Centurion, who per Jim Watts of Australia: “…Centurion was associated with a very high level of secondary follicle development (a S/P ratio of 15.7 to 1 which ranks close to the highest level so far recorded at this laboratory).” Ticonderoga is a striking, typey male with bright, crimpy, dense fiber that has wonderful handle. He is a sweet boy who is easy to handle and he will eat pellets right out of your hand. He has been shown only three times and he won blue ribbons as a juvenile and 2 year old, and 3rd place as a yearling. The picture is from the Gold County Gathering. If you are looking for color and Accoyo genetics, this is the herdsire for you.
